MEDICAL SUPPLY PROGRAM
In the US, life-saving surplus medical supplies are thrown out in alarming volume everyday. Instead, we collect and ship them to our partners in Ukraine who distribute them to hospitals and medics treating war victims.
BUILDING FOR THE DISPLACED
URE has developed programs in partnership with Montana State University to provide housing and build up community-strengthening resources for internally displaced Ukrainians.
who we are
We are 501(c)(3) non profit based in Bozeman, Montana started by three Montana State University students: Karolina Konieczna, Cassie Birch, and Steve Houtz. Along with their initial projects, school work, and families, they sought help from local volunteers to expand their efforts. Since then there have been many volunteers making a difference with us. Some helped when they could with what they had, and others have stuck around till today.
Our work would not be possible without our foreign volunteers as well. We have worked with humanitarian aid workers, concerned citizens, city officials, and business owners, in Poland and Ukraine to collect, distribute, and store medical and humanitarian supplies, and build IDP Housing.
We are always thankful for more help. If you would like to get involved, please message us on Facebook, and join our public meetings on Friday evenings.

MEET REAL-TIME NEEDS.
From the first weeks of the Ukraine Crisis in March 2022, URE has been dedicated to directing funding and aid from our local community and supporters to specific needs of Ukrainian war victims. URE’s partnership with the humanitarian aid center in Kopychyntsi, Ukraine, provides food, medical supplies, vehicles, generators, and other essentials. 100% of your contribution will be used for the purchase and transport of aid to internally displaced Ukrainians and those on the front lines.
what we do
From the first weeks of the Ukraine Crisis in March 2022, Ukraine Relief Effort has been directing funds and aid from our community to specific needs of Ukrainian war victims. Our current projects are to collect urgently needed medical supplies from hospitals in the United States and ship them to Ukraine; and, with an American volunteer living in Ukraine, we are renovating houses for IDPs, who otherwise are living without indoor plumbing or heat. While we are doing the legwork, we need your support.
Join us in easing the torment of this war by volunteering or giving today. Thank you!
