About

Mark Rosolowsky retired and moved to Bozeman in 2016 after spending his 30+ year career as a research scientist and as an executive in the pharmaceutical industry working at Merck and Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS). While leading a regulatory department at both Merck and BMS, Mark interacted with global health authorities to gain approval of several innovative vaccines, cardiovascular and oncology products. Mark has chaired and presented at international scientific conferences in numerous countries. Since moving to Bozeman, Mark has been active in lifelong learning as chair of the Advisory Council of OLLI at MSU (formerly Wonderlust at MSU). He currently is a member of the Honors College External Advisory Council. Mark enjoys skiing, biking and hiking in the beautiful Montana outdoors. Mark’s grandparents emigrated separately from Ukraine to the U.S. and Canada in the early 1900s. Mark earned his B.S. from Trinity College in Connecticut and his Ph.D. from Rutgers University/University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Mark has published over two dozen peer-reviewed scientific papers.
