Cassie .Birch

Cassie moved to Bozeman in 2020 and is currently finishing a second bachelor's degree in Environmental Science - Land Rehabilitation at Montana State University. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Utah State University in 2017 and worked in hospitality management and event coordination. These resorts employed international students through the J1-visa program, and so she developed friendships with amazing people from countries including Ukraine, Ireland, and Turkey. She loved sharing her country with those friends so she planned and took them on road trips to Zion, Escalante, Yellowstone, and Jackson Hole. Her friendships with the Ukrainians motivated her to take action when the Russian invasion began. This action and through meeting other like-minded people, led to the founding of Ukraine Relief Effort.

Beyond school, work, and organization efforts, she loves to spend time backpacking, making stained glass, mushroom hunting, and canoeing with her beloved deaf hound dog, Gus.
